Hi, Maybe one of you can help...
I want to add a short music fle to play when my slideshow starts and loop it when the music ends.
I can do it, it works on my computer, but when I send it to someone it doesn't play as it links the music file instead of embedding it in my
presentation.
I have tried adjusting the limits of embedded object sizes, but still not working.
The actual presentation is 3010KB and the music file is only 53KB.
How can I make sure that the recipients also hae the music play on their PCs?
Thanks!

How do I change the maximum size allowed?
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the General tab, increase the Link sounds with file size greater than ___ Kb setting to a size just larger than your largest sound file, up
to 50,000 KB (50 MB).
3. Click OK.
Yes, thanks, but that is what I have done and it still doesn't work...
Good point- I should learn to read!!!
This doesn't solve your embedding problem but can you send them the sound file along with the ppt file (on the same CD if that's the way you are sending it) and see if will still link.
I think that is the way you would have to do it. Copy both to the cd, then add the link to the file. That way it should look for it on the cd, not on your pc.
OK, thanks guys! I will do that then.
I am just disappointed, as sometimes you receive funny slideshows with music, so those are clearly embedded somehow...
Oh well...
Thanks!
