And another thing - copy Outlook info over
Jasper - 10/4/08 at 11:42 AM

I've done this in the past by doing a search for *.pst files, but I've done that on my C drive and it's coming up with nothing.

And they're not in DocsSetting/Application date/ Outlook etc which is where I found them before.

Any thoughts?

Hi Jasper,

It depend on the way your exchange server has been configured.

PST files are norally stored on the exchange server. The local version of the PST file is called and OST file.

If you really want the PST file there are tool that can convert OST to PST.

Is this a home machine or an office machine running with a Exchange server?
Check the Acccount settings on the old machine.
If you are running with a Exchange server all the data is stored on server, you then only need to configure the account to get access to all your Outlook info. (so no *.pst file on machine)
Which version of Outlook are you running?
