Hi there

Just fitted them to my 2l pinto and its like driving a differant car even without a rolling road session which is needed.

I bouth my complete kit ready to bolt on from Great Bristish Sportcars for around £300

Go fo it your wont regret it

i'm looking at the zx9r carbs because they seem a bit cheaper than others but what would be the best bike carbs to suit a 2l zetec if there is such "best carb"

basicaly anything that size: R1, ZX9R....... (I'm sure some people have used others as well)
for a while it seemed everyone was using R1's, but these got more expencive and harder to find and now ZX9R's seem to be in fashon

I got mine from bogg brothers - and all I asked for was a set of carbs for a 2.1 pinto, I was half expecting R1 carbs, but they got the ZX9R's quicker and cheaper and they recon there are just as good

anyone know the difference in models? zx9r b model zx9r c model?

the early ones used kehin CVK carbs and the late ones (E and F) use CVR's

but any of these will do the job
(although I think some of the very early ones don't have a TPS which you might want if you've got electronic ignition)
