1.8 upgrading to 2.0 Silvertops

I am planning to swap out my 1800 to 2000 silvertop this winter. What will need doing / swapping over ?

So far searching the forum :

1800flywheel
CVH? Starter motor
1800 water pump

Can the sump be swapped over to the 2.0? Aswell as the oil pickup pipe?

Would really like to get this done this winter any help be great!

All the ancillaries fitted to the 1.8 will fit the 2.0 Its a simple as that.

With regards to the waterpump presume yours is an Escort one, the 1.8 Mondeo one is the same as the 2.0 one and of no use.

Brilliant, would i need to purchase the idler and bracket kit then?
