am thinking of using mikuni 40mm slabsides from a GSXR on a 1.6 xflow, the gsxr inlet rubbers are bolted directly onto the gsxr engine, can i get away with copying this ie bolting the rubbers onto a plate which is then bolted to the xflow head without using lead tubes or will i have problems with the carbs being to close heat etc?

Can't see why not - they are that close on the bike.

Hmm 1st problem the dizzy gets in the way !! How do i get round this ??

Remove it and fit Megajolt! Alternatively, get a dizzy cap that has side exits.
