converting dvd's

Can anyone recomend to me a software that can convert my dvd's to MP4 so that i can play them on my phone. Failing that, a place where i can buy MP4 films , not Itunes as they wont go on my phone.
Cheers Brad.

I use Divx Converter [www.divx.com]
You'll probably need to decrypt the DVDs first though.

I used to use Nero for converting complete dvds.

Nero Link

I thought it was fantastic. I now use linux and mplayer to convert anything I need and its much faster just harder to learn.

http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/

The above link has all the free download software required to do the job. Its actually for an iPod but the theory's the same so it should be ok.

I think you will find that the latest version of MS Media Player will do that for you.
