Laptop power supply

Does anyone have a cheap source for a new power supply /charger for My HP dv6710 laptop?

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Maplins do a multi voltage psu for laptops.
Don't know the price though.

If you go for eBay make sure you get a genuine charger, the Chinese knock offs are terrible quality, to the point that I wouldn't feel safe leaving one plugged in unattended.

I had a knock-off Dell charger that failed (with a big bang and lots of smoke) and when I took it apart the ferrite transformer was miniscule, far too small for the power levels they were pushing through it. Because this made the charger feel suspicioulsy light, the manufacturers had glued a big slab of steel into the case to make it feel as heavy as the OEM one.
