Audio Recording / editing
Anybody suggest a free downloadable record / edit software ? Just been to Computerworld but theirs (Audioforge ? )is one user only and I want it on
two machines.

someone on here suggested to me "audacity" and for my modest needs it's perfect..

Schools use Audacity - but it doesn't export as MP3 without a plugin...

you could illegally download adobe audition and use it on as many computers as you like... that'd be free.
But I wouldn't recommend doing that as you'll get in trouble....
I've heard good things about audacity but never used it

Just to be different I'd recommend Goldwave... Supports MP3 as standard.

I use wavelab essential
top piece of kit easy to use and cheap.
dont know if its still around as i bought it a while back.
