Printer Problem. Help!
I have an Epson R200 I use to print discs with. I've not used it since the end of last years MotoGP but now its back its time to catalogue the
racing again.
Printer just refuses to print properly, I've done all the head cleaning/alignment checks but still no good.
I suspected the ink had dried up but having replaced all 6 cartridges and its still no good.
Any advise on repairing it or can anyone recommend a new one? Must be able to print discs. Any laser ones out yet?

if you're looking for something just to print discs, i prefer the lightscribe CD writers. need a speacial CDR but they're not much more
expensive than normal ones. but you write a CD, Flip it over, and it then burns a lable on the top of the disc too

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I have an epson too, it's up in the attic out of the way. I didn't use mine much and everytime I did use it, I used most of the ink to
clean the damn heads.
Not worth the effor, I went and bought a B+W laser printer.
If you want a decent colour inkjet, I believe the best option is an HP printer as you get new heads with the cartridges (part of the cartridge).

Hi Steve,
newer Epson printers do this if you don't
use them regularly. I've stopped selling them in the
shop now.
Stick to HP or Canon as the printhead is in the cartridge.
There is no real difference in running costs.
