Not familiar with that one but most modem/routers have a factory settings reset button that should restore the (non AOL) default settings.

Google for a generic manual for it which should explain how to reset it and then reconfigure it, so you can use it with the settings from your ISP.

I would guess that even with a factory reset it will still only want to work with AOL. What I think you need to do is update the firmware which you can get from here

Make sure you pick the correct version, all the info you need should be on a label on the router.

Depending on the version I would assume you need one of the general firmwares below.

ST585v5 xDSLGA-Wireless_Firmware_UK_gen_ST585v5_en_5-4-4-1 Firmware ---v5 General
ST585v6 xDSLGA-Wireless_Firmware_UK_AOL_ST585v6_en_6-2-T-2 Firmware ---v6 AOL
ST585v6 xDSLGA-Wireless_Firmware_UK_Be_ST585v6_en_6-1-4-3 Firmware ---v6 Be
ST585v6 xDSLGA-Wireless_Firmware_UK_Be-Wh_ST585v6_en_6-1-4-3 Firmware ---v6 Be-Wh
ST585v6 xDSLGA-Wireless_Firmware_UK_gen_ST585v6_en_6-2-T-2 Firmware ---v6 General
