Not that I've got it but they also do 50mbit broadband for £50 PCM.

I had 20Mbit but downgraded to 10Mbit as I mostly use my laptop and with 802.11g wireless even 8 foot away from my router you still only get around 10Mbit in the real world even though its supposed to be 54Mbit.

According to the Gadget Show, South Koreans have a service of between 500 - 1000 mpbs for about £10/month.

They also have 12 free to view tv channels on their mobile phones!

We're the rich west - and so so so far behind!

Its gets more interesting at those speeds when if you've got a laptop it'll probably struggle to write your downloads to disk if you're actually get those speeds. But anyway would still like it for a tenner!

I dread to think how more storage I'd need on faster interwebs

on 8mbit and I sit around 5TB used storage.

I have a 160gb drive on this laptop and it's staying around two thirds full, what are you doing to fill FIVE TB?

Run a prog called tcp optimiser.
It sorts out slow ethernet ports...
On 50 megs people stick crappy routers on an moan about speed loss. Better to go ethernet cable to get the best out of it.
