iPlayer
My sister and neices were on the one show last Monday, mt Dad has downloaded it from iPlayer - is there any way of making a permanent copy of it? It
is normally disabled after 30 days

Use this
It downloads programs in a format suitable for iPods, but it does it without any DRM stuff on it (i.e. no security). It saves the progams in Quicktime
format, for which there is a free player. The quality is slighlty lower than normal iPlayer, but OK
You will need to download it again, mind - you can't just convert it. I download stuff to watch when I am abroad on business
