my security shield

does anyone know how to remove this crap from my computer it seems to have just installed itself and is causing problems and popping up all the time,im not that good with computers so step by step

I got this on my PC a few weeks back, downloaded stealthily by offering me an Adobe update when on the BBC site!
Lots of info on removal if you Google it but it was all too technical for me. Called the local PC engineer and he removed it in about an hour, charged me £40 total and the PC works better than ever.

there is some stuff online but it asks you to download something else!! i dont want more crap on my computer,how do they get away with this??
