In Solidworks all the 'add-ins' need turning on manually and its under the menu - tools - add-ins. So I would look for something like
that. I know its not much help, but could be somewhere to start looking?
I have heard of most cad packages but not this one before now. Is it expensive?

we only have 2D but the 3D button is there grayed out as you say, are you sure you have bought the 3D bit?
I,ll talk to our IT guys to see if there is anything they have heard from radan ( but I doubt it). Yes its very expensive,I think we have a support
contract with them but it takes forever to get replies sometimes.
