Do you have a gmail account?

I dont think outlook can be an email provider? (unless you have a mail server) I thought it was just a email handler that merely links with an email
provider or email server.

Thunderbird. the easy way using Mozbackup.
(1) Download Thunderbird
(2) Download Mozbackup.
(3) Install thunderbird on old PC. On first run it will import the email, account & server settings and passwords from Outlook.
(4) Install Mozbackup on the old PC and backup your Thunderbird installation, save it to your desktop and use a file name you will recognise such as
emailbackup.pcv .
(5) Put both programs and the backup file you have created on a CD or memory stick for transfer to new PC.
(6) On the new PC install both Thunderbird and Mozbackup.
(7) Run Mozbackup and restore from the .pcv file you created.
(8) Run Thunderbird and check everything has been imported.

Final step
- hate thunderbird and wish you'd never bothered!
There is a way of transferring all your account and current email into gmail using Imap. This is good because once your email is online you never need
to worry about transferring to a new pc or losing your hard disc again.
google for transferring email from outlook to gmail for lots of instructions on this.

I agree with the above in that the easiest way is to install Thunderbird on the old PC and import/transfer from Outlook, then transfer the Thunderbird
(known as Zargo amongst my work colleagues - geddit? ) to the new PC.

if old comp still works you can just open outlook and goto
tools > accounts > export
save the file to a usb stick and copy to new computer = job done
you should have outlook express as a minimum on any windows machine if not u can download it from Microsoft website

If you want to move all your existing email, you will need to find your PST file, and copy that, also..
