Trying to create a Link to show an e-bay item. When I please the link icon a box asks for a URL what does that mean. An idiots guide please to making a linky, ta.

The URL is the long address in the top bar of your browser, ie. http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk is LCB`s url

to make it easy get to the stage where it asks for the URL, then go to the browser (intenet explorer or whatever you use) address bar whilst looking at the ebay item.

it will be something like

www.ebay.com/itemno20302380298309830983

whatever

click anywhere on that address in the address bar once and it will turn blue (highlighted), then right click on the blue highlighted address and select copy.

Click back to the locostbuilders site, and where it asks for the URL, right click in that little text box, and select paste.

then ok or submit or whatever it says next

For ebay item numbers you can also use [ ebay ] number [ /ebay ] (without the spaces) like this eBay Item
