Note book help please

Daughter as a little notebook, it thinks it's a iPad, the screen as turned 90 degrees, broken or as she inadvertently hit a setting and if so where do. I find it to re set it.

Help please.

hold down ctrl and alt and use the arrow keys (up)

If the rotate control is set as standard, give a double click on the button at the bottom of the screen and you will see a set of icons appear at the bottom of the screen. Swipe these icons to the right and past the volume and brightness controls you will find the button to lock/unlock the rotation.

In the settings you can swap this function to the slide switch on the side. This is what I have done as it is easier to control when I want to use it as a book reader.
