Coupon Dropdown ads
Chaps,
Keep getting these ads - even words that are underlined prompts an ad. Any idea how to remove please.
Using Windows 7 if it helps
Cheers

First thing to do is download Hijachthis (note all one word) and run it as admin and delete any BHO's (Browser Helper Objects) you
find.
Hijackthis is 100% free

Have a look through the programs option under control panel and look for anything out of place, saw a similar one to this on a heads laptop in a
school I was visiting turns out there was a program that had been installed that created the pop ups, cant remember what it was called but should be
pretty obvious from the list of installed software, and you should be able to select it and click on the uninstall option along the top for it.

I had this problem and went into IE "Manage Add-ons" and disabled almost everything I didn't recognise which solved the problem.

Spybot (freebee ad/spyware remover) is pretty good at digging these out. Had a similar problem recently, turned out to be something calling itself
"Solidsavings" or suchlike, easily removed with Spybot.
