Uploading photos from Samsung S2 ??
If I try to upload a photo from my Samsung S2 phone, it says on here that the file is unsupported ?
If I email them from my phone to my laptop & then try to upload from my laptop it says that the file is unsupported ?
I have tried saving them onto the laptop & putting '.jpg' on the end but I still cant seem to upload it into my locostbuilders photo
archive ?
I have tried a quick search but nothing comes up, is there a setting that I need to change on my phone ?
Any help much appreciated,
Cheers - Andy
Give a man a fish & it will feed him for a day, give him a fishing rod & you've saved a fish.

Have you tried using the USB cable ?
However on Android devices I generally use the AirDroid app for transferring files via Wifi just install AirDroid and start the app and you
can open your access to your phone via the browser on your PC. The official Samsung Kies app is similar.

Do a google search for a free Samsung application called 'Kies'. Download it onto your PC and then connect your phone via its USB cable.
You phone and all of its folders then become visible to your PC. You should be able to drag and drop files from one device to the other. Certainly
works with the wife's S2 and my Note2......

Another way is to use Dropbox, www.dropbox.com/
Sign up for a free account and you get something like 2GB of storage space, and then when you take a picture you can have it automatically upload to
your dropbox folder. Have the app also installed on your laptop and the files will magically appear in the Dropbox folder on your laptop too.
In other words if you use dropbox on your phone and laptop it will automatically sync between the two folders.

I have a S2 and just drag and drop
But you will have to reduce the size of the file if you are taking photos at 8meg
I just open the photo in paint and then go to image ,stretch/skew and reduce to 30% both horz and vert then save you should now be able to upload them
