Greeting peeps, just got an E mail from google saying my google + account will be shutting down and i should transfer all content etc somewhere
else.
well the only google i have a G mail account, does this mean that will be shut down ?, the mail is as clear as mud

I got the same email so I had to google google +.
Seems like some sort of failed social network that they are shutting down. We may or may not have inadvertently signed up to it. Nothing to worry
about as far as I can tell.

I also got the email, yet have never used google, or had an account with them,
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

I received the same email from Google and it didn't make a lot of sense to me either.
I use the free Google Drive (cloud storage), but that's it.
If Google close it I shan't lose any sleep so I can't see what effect their planned changes have for me.

I think Google are owned by a parent company called Alphabet and I think Alphabet also own You Tube (amongst other things). So the chances are if
you've had an account with one of the other companies owned by the parent company (I'm not saying you have, but I think there are quite a
few other bits and pieces out there) the email may simply be sent to you by default.
