MSN WARNING
MSN appears to be hit by another bit of malware or something, I am confused:
You get sent a link saying:
'Some guy just sent me this and disappeared offline' followed by a link to a pif file.
DONT CLICK IT!!!
It will forward the message to everyone who is online and then kick you offline and you may not be able to get back online.
If you do click it, check the prefetch folder in the windows directory for a file containing the word 'handcuffs' and delete it.
How do i know this...I just got hit by it...bugger!

PS: my firewall stopped a prog called winis.exe accessing the net after i had been hit... i have no idea what that prog is though...now running all
the checks etc on my system!

My virus scanner is now running and has picked up a virus called -
Downloader-ui
If you get hit...run your virus scanner!

my system automatically installed messanger v6.2 the other day. do ya know if this is the correct version to have?

I have that too...didnt stop that thing hitting me though... 
*Think* i have got rid of it now though
BTW there is msn beta (v7) available...but its not an auto update. I have just started using it though...great fun...
