Downloading Whole websites

Does anybody know if it is possible to download whole websites including their pics and links from that website etc?.

E.g. download the whole of this site, every message so it can be read offline.

I'm due to be working a fair distance away from home without internet access and would like to do alot of research on an old laptop, any ideas?

You can indeed, with something like this:

Just be wary that some people look down on people doing this....

webstripper does the same job.

Handy for downloading a fairly static website onto a CD and taking it to wherever you don't have internet access.

Webstripper lets you choose the level it goes to as regards clickable links etc.
