Use a program called spybot, available from here:

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

Download it, update it and run it. it should find anything malicious.

If that fails you can use hijack this:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html
but it requires a bit more knowledge about what you are doing!

After running that, carry on with a virus scan. And even a scan with Adaware SE:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
to make sure you have got everything.

David

(Just found the links to all the software)

Hijackthis is the only 100% cure for all dialers
It should be run regularly to monitor changes in the registry.
Make sure you get the real hijackthis from http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Usuall instruction about disabling "auto system restore" and running in safe mode appy.
Free-AV will stop most dialers from installing.

Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird should also be used they are much more secure against this kind of threat intalling itself than the MS software.

The ultimare protection from dialers is to go broadband and pull out the modem lead unless your are faxing.
