Mac problems

I have an apple powerbook 1.33ghz with 256mb ram and a radeon 9700 mobile, running panther os. I came home from work today to find it had switch off, i turned it back on, all seemed normal, it made its little start up noise, the screen went grey, the apple logo appeared and the working symbol below, then nothing, it just sits on this screen indefinately, and to be honest, im completely stumped, any ideas?

Try googling for an answer.

I got a few sites and some recommend Alsoft Diskwarrior for macs. It's not free but it looks cheaper than a new laptop.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
