Problem saving a document file to a rewritable CD
Please bear with me, I'm not very computer literate
I'm saving a document file to a rewritable CD, that I want to take to another computer, access the file, and modify and save it again.
So I save the file, but when I reopen it from CD and modify it, I cannot resave it, even under a new name, as it comes up as "read only".
I've tried every thing I can find with regard to the setup of the original file, and the CD drive, but nothing seems to work
Is there something simple I'm missing?
Cheers

If its only a document, then it will probably fit on a good old floppy disk. So use one of them , or just email it to each other?

Both Xp and Nero seem to set rights to RO by default
