Weird goings on!
I just placed an avi file in My Documents and if I right or left click on it, a weird window comes up with gobledegook and I end up having to
terminate Explorer. I can't move it, I can't delete it.
I moved everything out of the folder and tried to delete the folder, but of course Windows won't let me delet it, even when I changed its
name.
Anyone got any ideas what's going on and how I can delete this spawn of beelzebub?
Cheers, Rorty.

Start your computer in safe mode and use the dos commands to delete it. under start you will find run, type cmd that will open a dos window then type
Del c:\whatever for example.

Yep but the trouble is so many newbies to computeres can't. I'm an old hand but sometimes can't remember the proper commands or
syntax.
