It seems to vary dramatically.
I have a 2meg connection and mostly on eBay it's OK. But sometimes it would be quicker to post it.
I have lost items because I could not get a bid on in time and have had e-mails from eBay that have taken two days to receive.
I blame the Gremlins.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
