Web links not working

Hope you can help.

I had Firefox as a replacement web browser but have now dumped it as it was getting to be a pain for various reasons so i went back to IE. When clicking on web links in email messages it would bring up firefox as the browser so i deleted firefox from add and remove software. Now when i click on a web link in an email it won't open IE.

How do i get it to open IE?

Just a guess, is IE your default browser now? there is a setting somewhere to make it the default one.

At a guess, launch IE click on Tools, click on Internet options, then the programme tab
