created my photo archive including resized one for avatar.Cant get it to upload to avatar.Ive right clicked the photo and copied the url and pasted to
bit in edit profile but no luck.What is the red cross on the white square where my pic should be

Is it a jpeg or bmp picture ? try putting it in and out of Paint

thanks but it didnt work.what seemed to work was pasting into url box and hitting enter
