Certain sites not working for me

For some reason i cannot get onto the following sites, they worked for about 5 mins today and then it came up with server not found. Checked with a mate and it works for him.

Any settings i can change, tried deleting temporary internet files and cookies.

The sites are

www.stownersclub.com
www.fordstownersclub.com

I think its something to do with my connection as it doesnt work on my other pc.

There is something funny with Javascript at the moment. I know they tried to patched a security flaw opened by Microsoft closing one about a week ago. Some sites now just escape the script and display "Done" in the status bar.

NowI've not been arsed to look at the sites so I cant say its definately that.

Reset my router and they started working again, but only for 5 mins.

Any ideas?

Not a hardware guy, but inbuilt firewall? Otherwise can you get invalid port use on WWW like you canon telnet?

Make sure you have all the latest patches on it is my best advice.

You on NTL? Could be them.... Can't see it being software if it stops after 5 mins. I reckon its the ISP.

what ISP are you using and which router?

I used to have this problem with my router and found it was to do with the router settings.

On Freeserve and using a Belkin wireless router.

Seems to be happening to more websites now.

Just strange most work, but its just a few that don't, i have only been on them a few times before too. So they are all new pages to me.
