windows movie maker

can amyone help with this ive managed to get my video footage on to the pc now loaded it into windows movie maker then i draged each clip in to the showtime ?(bottom part of screen.what i now want to do is burn it to dvd .anyone know what ive got to do ? i cant see any instructions about it in the help section of movie maker

istr that you click finish on one of the top menus. I always end up with two copies of it though, so im no expert It saves it under 'my videos', and then you can burn it direct to dvd from there - ive never made it work though, in fact, i think my dvd player is bust

i think i agree with joel p

you need to save the video youve just created as a wmv file. You can specify where you save it. I tend to use c:\ as its easiest to get to
Once youve saved the video as filename.wmv you can then use something like nero to burn it to a DVD

go to ->file->save movie file..

that should save it as a wmv file

First of all you need to change your avatar to this code

When i do it i click on save to my computer on the left side of the screen. Then follow instructions to save it as an .avi takes quite a while if youve got loads of effects and music etc but once its saved your done with windows movie maker, use something like nero to burn it. Ive always got good results like this and never had any trouble, but theres maybe other ways too. Hope this helps
