sage line 50 help

Right Ian who looks after the sage in the company isnt here so i have to do it.

i have a customers pc in the shop that has line 50 on it, has never backed up 4 years worth of accounts and has let there 15 year old some use the pc for downloading music, result is the install of windows is buggered and it wont repair, if i put he drive in another pc can you take the sage recovery files from one drive to another ? if so what do i need to copy / back up ?

The backup files are usually called sageback.001 or sageback010307.001 - the numbers are the date.

yes the backup file will end in .001.

you can copy the whole program files c:\prog files\sage folder off.

then on the new machine install the same version as fresh then copy the prog folder files over the new installed files and it will be ok.
