Hi,

I believe that an ebayer using the name Phillduck has been using my Paypal account to purchase a number of mobile phones oer the last two days.

I have cancelled the Paypal transactions, and would advise you not to post anything to 19 Roll Gardens unless you receive payment,

Cheers,

Mike.

I'd do just that. Don't post it until you've received payment. That's how most e-bay transactions work isn't it?

Phil

Looks like he's trying to get out of paying. Contact ebay and paypal yourself and get his accounts put on hold, see how he likes it!!
Paypal is pretty secure, I would be very surprised if both his ebay AND paypal accounts have been compromised.

If I understand the problemn correctly, it's not 100% clear?

Have you sold the phone to "houseofmarbles" and he apparantly paid you with paypal and you posted the phone already.

If that is the case, I'd say you're being scammed, ie payment cancelled ,phone never turns up and no comeback because he said don't send it?
Or am I off the ball?

I've just had the same happen, and once paid for Ebay tell me you can't actually cancel the paypal payment, so if it's the same as my problem he's trying to get out of paying.

This is a pure guess but ....

what do you think the chances are of him putting bids on a number of phones. He's then won more than one phone so .... he pays the cheapest and pretends he's been scammed on the rest.

he gets a phone and you end up stuffed.

report it, if i'm right then he's got problems, if not you haven't lost anything.

Sounds dodge. Keep the money and refer the matter to Ebay and Paypal.....
