Format VISTA HD

Trying to format a HD that had Vista on it to put XP on it.

Anyone know the crack with the RAID/SATA drivers to get XP back on the HD.

When I run my XP disc, it will recognise my stick, but not the HD of the computer.

Before I do that, I went into BIOS and changed the SATA stuff to ATA instead of ATAI (I think) and when I re-started with my XP disc, it recognised the HD of the computer and will enable me to install XP.

Shall I go for it?

Cheers graham

Nice program that, but I already have a nicely tweaked version of XP, but that may come in handy later!

Might not of finished with your assistance yet!

Yep - but all sorted now thanks.

Dell's site is actually really good for all the drivers - believe it or not.

Oooh thats quite a nice Util. it will be very handy, as i hate having to open up my case, and temporarily install a floppy drive to add my raid drivers when installing XP
