PC wont start
Hi,
Last night I left my PC on as I was downloading from the internet. When I came down to it this morning it had turned off, so I went to turn it back
and the two lights at the front came on, the fan came on but nothing else happened with the screen saying no signal.
The computer had a new power pack, and graphics card not so long ago, so I am thinking it either the motherboard or processor? Is there anyway of
working out which without buying both when only one is needed?
Thanks
Phil M

I'd replace the PSU first

if you still have the old graphics card try putting that back in first !
can you hear any thing inside the machine such as the hard drive working etc.
check all the connections on the mother board best way is to remove the connectors blow them over then return them from whence they came !

I had a similar problem recently all I had to do was remove the prosessor and refit then everything worked fine.
Acording to a friend it clears a corruption

Unplug everything from it -- mouse, keyboard, USB stuff, any pci cards and try it.
