Cant download PDF's in Firefox
Any idea's?

do they show at all?
you may just need to right click and 'save as' option if you want to download rather than view.
You may need to reinstall adobe.

I can only save the link. Not the file. I am in the process of reinstalling adobe.

Ok I get the issue now, I just use the save button once it is open

Yep there some pretty good 'add-ons' and 'extensions' for FireFox......
Go to 'Tools' click on Add-ons'...and click on 'Get Extensions'.......have a squizz there too
If you don't already have any extensions/add-ons go to Bookmarks scroll down to Firefox and Mozilla Links and then click on 'Themes and
Extensions'...... 
IMHO 'Ad Block Plus' is the first 'essential'....

I have a few favourite Firefox add-ons:
CustomizeGoogle is very useful - you can block all sorts of unwanted rubbish when you do searches. For example, all the links to other search engines
that never help you, all the ebay links that never work, and so on. Also all the ads on the right-hand side, if you don't like them.
NoScript is a good security option as well, especially if you run Windoze - it blocks all Javascript and similar stuff, unless you choose to let it
run. Initially you might think it's a pain, but you get used to it. The big bonus is if you go to a new and unknown (possibly dubious) site
then anything it throws at your PC is automatically blocked until you approve it.
