tool bar torment
you know that very annoying thing where windows only shows the most recently used options on the tool bar and you have to click on the arrows at the
bottom to expand it? how do you stop it doing so as its doing my nut in. It's xp my the way

For the Start menu, right click on the button, select properties and the option is in there somewhere (slightly different depending on which Windows
you are using) . For MS Office, the option is under "Customise" on the Tools Menu.

First thing I disable every time I install a new copy of Windows or Office!
Why they have to have "Customise" as well as "Options" I will never understand

You need to switch off 'personalised menus'
