can a program dissapear? help needed
I use MS Outlook 2007 for emails, but it seems to have completely vanished.
The other half said the puter hung, so she switched it off at the mains, since then outlook has gawn and taken all my important emails with it.
It no longer shows up in the office folder, as a shortcut or anywhere that i can see. Its like its been uninstalled.
Any ideas?, this is slightly serious.
Cheers
Al.

Do you have the original install disc for office, you could try running setup and selecting the repair option.
You might also get the option in add/remove programs there is sometimes a change button, which brings up the option to install extra
options/uninstall/repair etc.

A little hard work never killed anyone, but why take the risk!
