I want to be able to click in each section of the a4 sheet and have it act like a whole page, ie when i click the centre text button it will centre it
within that part of the whole page............if you know what i mean!
Thanks

3 X 2 table.
You can then format the text in the individual cells. It'll take a bit of fiddling to get the right size but shouldn't take too long!

Or do a single page flyer, copy it six times onto seperate pages then under printing options do "pages per sheet" and make that six.

Simplest way would be to create a table, e.g. (this is on Word 2002 - may be slightly different for other versions):
On the menu, select Table->Insert->Table
Choose 2 columns, 3 rows and click OK
On the menu, select Table->Select->Table
On the menu select Format->Borders and Shading
Click the setting "None" and click OK (this takes away the lines when your print)
On the menu, select Table->Select->Table
On the menu, select Table->Table Properties
Select the Alignment and text wrapping you want
Don't click OK yet
Click the Row tab
Check the Specify Height box, give a height of say 9cm and select Exactly (this will make sure that the boxes don't change depending on the
text
Don't click OK yet
Click the Cell tab
Select the vertical alignment you want
Now click OK
You might need to tweak the row height depending on what minimum margins your printer uses and what margins/borders you have set up in that
document
Good luck!

how about doing it as if you were printing on pre cut adhesive lables, type what you want once and the just pick the layout of number of columns and
rows and print?
Tools
-letters & mailing
--Envolopes& lables
---options find layout or custome size
----type in what you want to see
----print
