How to convert DVD folders to .avi's etc
So I've downloaded an old movie and it's come as a folder with lots of VIDEO_TS and VTS_0_1 files etc. I can't get it to play
through my Popcorn Hour whilst it's sat on my PC HDD. It will if I copy to the PCH HDD, but that's a pain as it takes 30 minutes.
So, the question is what software can I use to convert the whole folder full of files to a single file that's a .avi or .mkv or something else
that plays easily? I've tried Xilisoft converter and DVD4PSP but neither of them work. Any other ideas?

Not sure if DVDshrink will do but it will most other things with DVD files --- change region, remove menus.

If the popcorn machine can read .iso files (my WD HDplayer can), just use your DVD burning software to write a DVD to your HD instead of a blank
disk.
Just write a DVD with 2 folders in it, one called video_ts with all your files in and another folder called audio_ts, it should work fine.
