Graphics cards

Looking for a new card to replace my dead 7600GS.
I'm looking at spending around 80 quid, and seen some 250GTS at that price.
Any recommendations?

Thanks

What kind of card are you after? I'm guessing it's for highish gaming duties?

£80 will get you a 9800GT from dabs.com or pretty much anywhere else which will run any game on the market at the minute anyway!

Having said that apparently you will get the same performance out of an 8800GT?

well the best of the 9000's was probably the 9800GTX+
which is now called a GTS250 as I understand it - but they are mostly around the £90-100 mark, but you could always find a deal

and in my experience you can't go wrong with ASUS cards

I've used this lot for years and never had a problem dealing with them:
linky 1

or there's always a fellow locostbuilder's shop:
linky 2 (send him a u2u first)
