iphone slowed down
hi guys n gals
just updated the os on my 3gs and it appears to have slowed down, there is a momentary gap when opening the likes of mail, messages, safari etc,
wondering if anyone else has noticed the same, love the new notification for incoming texts etc

Mines doing it too. Have you tried removing some of the running apps? It's probably because of all the additional features built into 5 the
older phone can't process quick enough.

Some people can never handle the truth and always try to shoot the messenger instead of taking an honest look in the mirror (its always easier to
blame another than to face reality), but secretly they wish they could grow a pair and be the messenger !!!

ensure your milti tasking list has no apps running. (double press stop button (the square) if you have apps there they are still running) just hold
one of the apps running along the bottom and it will have a minus sign at the top left. click that and remove ALL apps this will speed it up
massivley.
also..
Turn off looking for new wifi hotspots
turn off bluetooth if you dont use it.
make sure you dont have push messaging on for all your apps. just the ones you need.
if your running a jail break version ensure cydia isnt updating automatically. infact stop being tight and get the real OS.
:O)
