Ethernet
Just got a new fan dangled TV which I can connect to the tinterweb. I already have an Xbox connected to the Internet via an ethernet over power line
plug.
The power line ethernet plug only has one ethernet port. Is ther anyway I can double this so that I can run both devices from a single ethernet port?

4 port switch would do it.

Will an ethernet economiser work over a power line ethernet plug?

Don't know for sure but I very much doubt it, as has been said a cheap 4 port switch will do the job and shouldn't be expensive either

Very unlikely as the powerline plugs have to change the signal for it to be carried on the power lines. But that is seriously outdated hardware,
designed to increase capacity at the expense of reliability.
Do what Jeffw says, buy a small 4 port switch. Shouldn't cost more than £10, you only need one and you will be able to plug all your devices in
with no problems.

You can get an Ethernet plug which has 3 collections on it - have a look on ebuyer.
My sons one has 3 connections + wifi
It's made by Devolo I think?

My first powerline had one port on end and four the other, it was effective but only first gen so a bit slow. Second one was single port but quicker
so i just bought a switch to make up for the missing ports.

Remember you will need 3 (in total) ethernet cables as well.
