cheap hp compatibles online req

Help info needed
Spare HP desk jet 940 c has to be put into service due to the cannon popping it clogs. I know that these are pricey but there are compatibles and they are more reasonable

its the hp c6615de 25ml black and the c6578d 19ml colour for HP940c

Help!!!!!

I've used these a few times.

Good quality ink and good colours in my old 820cxi. They have about 1/3 more ink than the originals.

If you can - get them from Makro

Original HP colour cartridge (x2) for a 940C (I have the same) £50 ish (incl VAT)

for colour cartridges I tend to try to use originals, the colour reproduction on third party items can be a bit dodgy.

quite happy to use third party blacks though (ASDA do one for abotu £12)

If all you're doing is b/w just bite the bullet and buy a laser. £200 buys you a good one. I have an HP1200 which is pretty good and very cheap to run compared to an ink jet. Just means I have to do all my colour stuff at work!

Chris, I think the hp1200 is now superceeded by the 1300, but the 1100 is still available i think (usb only iirc). most of the department here at work that I support use these (100 machines) and have had no problems to date apart from stupid users.
