Ebay dead?

Trying to bid on an item, but ebay has gone from the internet, same on desktop, phone, laptop and tablet, all other sites seem fine.

Anyone else having problems?

I wonder if my Mrs has anything to do with it, they are the only 2 sites I spend money on!

I've lost motogp.com and LinkedIn.com. Racing just about to start too

My websites hosted by BT seem to be down too so could be an issue with them.

Sounds like a DNS problem on your isps DNS server it should sort itself out, but you could try changing to other severe in your routers settings.

The DNS servers are a setting in either the router or PC settings, the way most PCs and networks are set is to get the DNS servers from the located router so is easiest just to change the router settings.

In the router settings the DNS server will probably be set to automatic. DNS servers can be any DNS serves on the internet but the Google DNS service is free andbreliable. The ipsettings for the Google servers are IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and the backup server at 8.8.4.4.
So is only a matter of specifying these as the DNS server pair.
