usb mass storage device drivers

i am looking for usb mass storage device drivers for windows 98, later versions of windows didn't need them. anyone know where i can download a generic driver for this type of device

You need to look at the chip on the board and then you can sometimes get them from driver sites or the manufacturer i.e. myson cs8818 , or Ali chips.

its a laptop,

there is a generic usb storage driver which is automatically installed with 2000 and xp but not 98 or 95 there was a driver disc with the pendrive but i don;t have access to it

I have a driver and utility prog in a folder. It's about 8 meg. If you want it, where to ?
