AVI files

So as per my "Another `Blade lives" post, I have a video, done on my digital camera thats 50 meg big at 320x240 for 3 minutes of viewing.
I need some help on what to do and how to either chop out the good 1 minutes worth fronm the middle, and or convert the whole thing to something smaller filesize.
Any ideas, video is not something i`ve ever played with.
Cheers
Colin

Use Premier Pro or other video editing software, there are plenty about. Import it to your PC (WARNING - takes ages if you have a slow CPU (less than 2Mhz)) and edit from there.

If you have windows XP use windows movie maker....its a lot better than people make out (especially the new one!). You can chop it up, add titles and effects. Then encode it to whatever size you like.

Thanks guys, I`ve just found Windows movie maker, it seems to do just what I needed, makes the 50 meg into 5meg WMA, good enough. Cheers
