Laptop Memory Upgrade
Does anyone know of a good website selling memory upgrades for laptops?
Ive found www.crucial.co.uk which seems pretty reasonable, they tell you exactly what you need too, just wondered if there was any others to compare
against.

Crucial are pretty good now-a-days, I've got 2GBs of it in this machine and aprox 128GB in all the servers at work, hasn't failed yet!

According to Crucial i need a 200 pin SODIMM chip, can i use any type? Thats why i'm a bit unsure about buying off ebay, incase i end up with
the wrong one, whereas crucial tell me exactly what i need but are about £15 more expensive.

Crucial is now rated as an excellent supplier of RAM to end user, it is a division of Micron who are one of the biggest RAM producers in the world. My
advice (and i am in the trade) go with crucial, if you use the upgrade selector you will end up with exactly what you want with a good warranty. Cheap
RAM is definately a falso economy.

We've used crucial about 4 times and never had any problems with compatability for either laptops or desktops. The memory is high quality and at
reasonable prices
