Just spent a day clearing NAV out

I have just spent a whole working day clearing Nav, Norton internet security and AOL anti-spyware out of 2 Pcs belonging to a client ---- uninistall left a mess and Symantecs download tool for clearing up the mess only partly works worst of all Norton blocks a manual system restore, Hijack this made no impression so it was down to registry hacks and service management freware.
AOL junk was less difficult but still took a fair bit of use of various freeware tools to clear it out.
Took a while but the difference it made to the running speed of both PCs has to be experienced to be believed.

Yep I avoid it myself. Got a PC waiting at home with a few Norton issues and as its only a slow Duron that'll be my evening gone
