Buffer overrun?

Aparently I've got one of these in internet explorer.

What is it and how can i get rid of it?

I'd adivse going and downloading Firefox. It's a different browser than IE and IMHO much better.

That said, your buffer overflow could be caused by other windows problems not necessarily IE. But I'd try Firefox, it can even import all your favourites/bookmarks automagically!
